Autumn Leaves
I visited the nearby lookout (yes, just one), and found piles and piles of leaves. Almost all of them were brown, but they made for an interesting subject for a few minutes.
Two Dandelions for You
I took pictures of every late-season dandelion in the yard, and these two came out the best with the zoom lens.
One Lake, Two Lake
After more than a couple weeks of not getting out, I spent part of this afternoon revisiting a favorite lake and discovering a quaint new one.
Bokeh(ish)
The zoom lens produced some surprisingly passable bokeh. Kind of amazing you can read the writing on the light bulb.
Playing with Composition
I learned a little about the golden ratio as part of composition, so I thought I would give it a try.
Pond and Park
Today’s photo outing included a pond and a park. The park had been closed for “remodeling” over the summer so it was interesting to see the changes.
Flowers and a Guest
I keep coming back to the flowers with the red petals and yellow centers. Today had a bonus guest.
Late September Lake Tour
This area has thousands of lakes, though many are less than knee-deep. I spent a couple hours touring three of them as the first run for the OM System OM-5 ii.
Rainy September Quick Trip
This fall has been blessing us with plenty of rain. During a small break in the deluge this afternoon, I went outside with the OM System 5-ii with the 14-45mm lens.
Early September Photo Walk
Several four-lane highways weave through my area, and one near me passes over a river and a rail yard. I had been curious about the pedestrian path, so I packed up my Ricoh GR IV for this walk.
