Early September Photo Walk

Several four-lane highways weave through my area, and one near me passes over a river and a rail yard. I had been curious about the pedestrian path, so I packed up my Ricoh GR IV for this walk.

The bridge and highway sections include a sidewalk and ramp. The sidewalk winds under the on-ramp with a view of the traffic’s merge sign.

Concrete and steel dominated much of the view. This is presented otherwise without comment.

A lot of graffiti appeared along the way. Questions, preguntas.

Some messaging was a little ambiguous.

Other messaging was more direct.

“Have a Good Day!” An unexpected, but welcome, message on a railing. I was out taking pictures so it was a good day.

A creative image from a cartoonist.

A yellow flower along the walk.

Walnut, still life. Joking, sort of. I thought the deep shadow and the shell segment made it look like a still life photo. I put the camera on the ground to get this shot.
