Rainy September Quick Trip

This fall has been blessing us with plenty of rain. During a small break in the deluge this afternoon, I went outside with the OM System OM-5 ii with the 14-45mm lens. I found myself missing a macro lens during this short shoot. After using the Ricohs GR IVs for so long, I am not used to a zoom lens.

Tiny, spiky red buds.

Finally seeing some colors in the falling leaves. Even have some reds this year.

Even more lovely red in this one.

I adore these red flowers with the yellow centers. They are thriving in these fall temps. Here is where I wish for the macro lens, so the center could be in focus, too.

Another of the red flowers with the yellow centers.

All this rain has brought out plenty of mushrooms.
